Rollover accidents in a motor vehicle are mainly attributed to SUVs, or sport utility vehicles, because of their flawed design that has led to individual and class action lawsuits with millions paid out to victims and their families. According to the NHTSA, there are nearly 300,000 reported rollover accidents annually resulting in 10,000 fatalities and far more in serious and catastrophic injuries in some cases.
